ACH Fraud Detection Reporting Service
This service helps ODFIs and RDFIs identify patterns of misuse of the ACH system and provide proactive and reactive warnings of suspicious activity. Reports are generated by predetermined thresholds and patterns and are accurate indicators for abusive and fraudulent activity.
The reports identify those companies that have excessive consumer and corporate unauthorized returns, as well as an excessive number of administrative returns (e.g. invalid account numbers). The reports are automatically emailed, enabling financial institutions to begin investigation and case management days, weeks, or even months before an instance of fraud might be reported or caught otherwise.
